Bernard Lim is a Principal of AD+RG Architecture Design and Research Group Limited, Former Honorary Adjunct Professor of the School of Architecture of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (1998 – 2019), and the Founding President of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design (HKIUD). He was Past President of The Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA) from 2005 to 2006.
Among his public and social services, he has been appointed as Committee Executive Members of The Architectural Society of China Building Renovation and Urban Renewal Professional Committee, Member of the Hong Kong Housing Society; Co-Chairman of Steering Committee of Hong Kong & Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture and Member of Advisory Committee on Education Development Fund. And he was appointed as Chairman of the Building Committee and Strategic Planning Committee Member of the Hong Kong Housing Authority; Member of Sustainable Development Council Chairman of Advisory Board, Nan Lian Garden and National Committee, The 12th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
